Nesting Baby Birds

These adorable cupcakes were for a baby shower.  The inspiration for them came from Martha Stewart’s Cupcakes book.  The client had seen the picture of the cupcakes and asked me to re-create them with pink birds, instead of the blue ones in the book.  The cupcakes are vanilla with white buttercream icing. The birds are fondant sitting in a nest of toasted coconut.  I truly loved making these cupcakes!!!!

Domino Cupcakes

These chocolate cupcakes are decorated with buttercream icing and topped off with a fondant domino.  I made these for my grandfather’s 88th birthday dinner because he plays dominoes every day!  They were adorable and delicious!

Baby Shower cupcakes

I made these adorable cupcakes for a baby shower.  The babies topping the cupcakes are marzipan and the blankets are fondant.  They’re vanilla with vanilla icing.  They are wrapped with a “baby” paper wrapper which makes them look like they are nestled in a bassinet.  I had a lot of fun making these!!

Cheesecake Pops

Peace Cake

This cake was for my cousin’s 15th birthday. She specifically requested something with a peace sign. It’s a cookies & cream cake with pink butter cream icing and purple fondant peace signs. It’s yummy and cool
